WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Steelers owner Dan Rooney was sworn in yesterday as U.S. ambassador to Ireland. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton administered the oath at a noontime ceremony at the State Department. Mr. Rooney was accompanied by his wife, Patricia, and many family members.
