Angola: Water Projects Conceived According to Urban Plans, Secretary of State

Lobito — The secretary of State for waters, Luis Filipe da Silva, said Saturday in Benguela that the projects of the sector are being conceived according to new urban plans of each town. He was addressing the press at the end of a working visit to the coastal Benguela Province where he rejoiced with the progress made in the construction of the "Aguas de Benguela" project (Waters of Benguela), whose second phase is expected to be concluded by December, by the Brazilian contractor Odebrecht. The second phase of the project expects the construction, infra-structures rehab and extension of drinkable water distribution in the new suburbs of the towns of Benguela and Lobito and the villages of Catumbela and Baia Farta.
