The star, who battled with her own weight for years before having a gastric band fitted, is helping promote an initiative called Body Gossip. Ruth Rogers, a 28-year-old BBC presenter and actress, launched Body Gossip in 2007 with a writing competition, asking women to share stories about their body. She received hundreds of entries and the 15 winning stories will be played out on stage this Sunday. Diamond and other celebrities, including Big Brother housemate Nikki Grahame, who has battled anorexia; Hollyoaks actress Mikyla Dodd and size 16 model Chloe Marshall, will perform the stories on stage in central London.
