SPRINGDALE - A nominee for the Medal of Honor will be welcomed home Friday at her mother's Springdale home. Sgt. Angelina Raquel Montemoino will be greeted at Angela Courage's house -- 1908 Robyn Road -- from noon to 2 p.m. before transferring to a new duty station. Montemoino is a nominee for the Medal of Honor because of her contribution in the rescue mission and emancipation of hostages in Columbia on July 2. Fifteen hostages, including three Americans and Columbian politician Ingrid Betancourt, were freed from rebel captors of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia when Columbian forces tricked the captors into putting the hostages on board a government helicopter.
