While layoffs looming who on council agreed with staff raises?

I don’t for a second dispute that some of those who work for Toledo City Council work above and beyond their job descriptions and that they do deserve raises. That said, the City is facing tough economic times, and like many of us out there who do work or who have spouses who work for companies, we’ve heard “we’d love to give you a raise, or higher raise but we just can’t afford it right now.” My mission?
