NEW YORK, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Natural gas producer Chesapeake Energy Corp said on Tuesday it agreed to sell a 25 percent interest in its Fayetteville Shale assets in Arkansas for $1.9 billion to BP America, a unit of BP Plc .
