South Ossetia receives almost 600 tons of foreign aid

MOSCOW, September 1 (RIA Novosti) - South Ossetia has so far received a total of 593.9 tons of foreign humanitarian aid, a Russian emergencies ministry source said on Monday. "Belarus has sent 63 metric tons, Kazakhstan - 109, Uzbekistan - 280.8, Ukraine - 100, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees - 30.4, and Jordan - 10.7," the source said.
