Tesco cuts travel insurance prices Tesco has reduced prices for holiday insurance on short breaks. Prices for premiums for such policies now start from £5.40 per person, including the ten per cent discount already available for people who are buying the insurance online or in store. This covers one trip to a European destination for up to three days, including the days on which the policyholder is travelling. Rachel Cutler, head of Tesco travel insurance, noted that short city breaks to the continent are much in demand and that last minute package deals are often available. She urged people to take out appropriate cover, even for a short break.
