Britons top for beauty spending

BRITONS spend more on health and beauty products than consumers in any other EU country, according to new figures. The UK spend is £295 per person a year, compared with £257 in France, £240 in Italy and £227 in Germany, the European Health and Beauty Retailers report said. The high spending is due to easy access to products, a strong consumer appetite for innovative items and a shift towards premium products.
