Republic of Ireland's Brady 'stable' in hospital following illness

· Assistant manager taken unwell on national team trip to Norway · Former international being treated at Dublin hospital The Republic of Ireland assistant manager, Liam Brady, was rushed to hospital in the early hours of this morning with an unknown illness. The former Irish international was admitted for treatment at Dublin's Beaumont hospital where he is in a stable condition according to a spokeswoman for the hospital. Brady travelled to Norway with the Republic squad for their 1-1 draw in Oslo last night and arrived back in Dublin with the rest of the coaching staff at around 2am. "Liam Brady was feeling a bit unwell this morning and as a precautionary measure he went into hospital where he is in a stable condition, and lucid," confirmed an FAI spokesman said.
