Right-hander tosses first complete game of career in rain-shortened win By Steve Conley / Special to MLB.com Even though his season hasn't gone the way he'd hoped, Joe Woerman took a big step toward turning things around Monday. Woerman hurled the first complete game of his career to lead the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx to a 4-0 rain-shortened, six-inning win over the Mobile BayBears at Hank Aaron Stadium. Woerman (1-2) allowed two hits, walked two and struck out one while retiring 10 of the final 12 batters he faced. In three starts with West Tenn this season, he has allowed just five earned runs over 19 innings, striking out 14 and walking four. "I threw fastballs for the most part," he said.
