HUNTINGTON, W.Va., Aug. 20 WV-Champion-Indust-Q3 HUNTINGTON, W.Va., Aug. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Champion Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHMP) today announced record third quarter net income of $1,067,000 or $0.11 per share for the three months ended July 31, 2008. The Company reported net income of $1,031,000 or $0.10 per share in the third quarter of 2007. Net income for the nine months ended July 31, 2008 represented record earnings of $3,740,000 or $0.37 per share on a diluted basis. This compares to $3,689,000 or $0.36 per share on a diluted basis for the same period in 2007.
