Jones Apparel Promotes Jay Friedman to CEO, Retail Footwear and Apparel; Announces New Domain...

on Monday announced the promotion of Jay Friedman to chief executive officer of the company-owned Retail Footwear and Apparel. The apparel and footwear maker also said that it changed the domain name of its corporate website. Earlier to his current posting, Friedman served as the President of the same operating division. He will also continue to report to Andrew Cohen, chief executive officer, Footwear, Accessories, and Retail. Wesley Card, Group president and chief executive officer, said, "Jay is a talented merchant, effective leader and a seasoned retail executive with over 30 years of experience."
