(Jackson, TN) Aug 13th- The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx got a superb pitching performance from Tracy Thorpe on Wednesday night as the Diamond Jaxx hung on for a 2-1 win over the Carolina Mudcats in game two of the five game series from Pringles Park. Thorpe (1-0) pitched six shutout innings, allowing just one hit while walking three and striking out five. Thorpe retired the first ten men in a row before issuing a walk to Scott Cousins in the fourth inning. Thorpe had a no-hitter thru 5 2/3 innings before giving up a clean single to center by John Raynor.
