Vet Care In Question

By STACY SAKAI (SALISBURY, MD -- WMDT) 8/13/2008 Tonight - concerns over the care of a Salisbury vet are coming to light. Dr. James Nolte is the city zoo's veterinarian and Monday night, blogger Joe Albero of sbynews.com presented two animal cases found against Dr. Nolte and asked the Salisbury City Council if a background check was done before being hired. In addition, over the last two days WMDT has learned that two maybe even three of Dr. Nolte's private clients - have contacted the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners with complaints. One is Denise Sweitzer, who claims her horse nearly died under his care. WMDT spoke with the president of the State Board Of Veterinary Medical Examiners about these allegations - Dr. C.H.
