Manny Pacquiao, the Filipino superstar who now holds the WBC world lightweight title, has rejected the offer of a multimillion-dollar contract to fight Oscar De La Hoya on December 6 in Las Vegas in what will be the final fight of the American's career. According to Pacquiao he had been offered only 30% of the purse after asking for a 40-60 split. "It would have been an honour to fight De La Hoya," said Pacquiao, before adding: "I find the offer unacceptable and the only option is to move on."
