A man accused of robbing a bank in Levittown, N.Y., allegedly took part in 14 other bank robberies in Nassau County, police said. Police said 28-year-old Ryan McCarthy was arrested Tuesday following the robbery of a Capitol One branch bank while attempting to flee with the stolen cash, Newsday reported Wednesday. Robbery squad investigators then linked McCarthy to a series of bank heists in the New York county this year, including three thefts at one Roslyn Savings Bank branch.
