More illegals caught on Czech-German border imply no risk-Prague

Prague/Berlin- The migrants Bavaria caught illegally crossing the border from the Czech Republic are mainly foreigners who have a Czech residence permit but are not entitled to enter other states, the Czech Foreigner Police said today in reaction to the figures released by Bavaria's Interior Ministry. It ensues from the statistic figures that the number of detained people who illegally crossed the border has doubled since the border checks were abolished with Prague's Schengen entry half a year ago. "We don't see any high risk in these cases," Foreigner Police spokeswoman Barbora Kudlackova told CTK. She said the foreigners often cross the border because they do not know they are not authorised to do so.
