BlackBerry Bold hits UK stores 4:31PM, Friday 8th August 2008 RIM has launched its latest version of its popular BlackBerry device. The BlackBerry Bold is being billed by the industry as a key rival to Apple's iPhone. The smartphone is the first 3G BlackBerry and allows users to download and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files through its preinstalled DataViz Documents to Go software suite. According to RIM, the BlackBerry Bold allows business users to download email attachments, stream video or render web pages more quickly than ever before. The device also has integrated GPS for satellite navigation.
