(Tony Gutierrez/Associated Press) Texas Rangers rookie outfielder David Murphy landed on the 15-day disabled list Thursday because of a sprained right knee. Murphy, 26, suffered the injury in a collision at home plate with catcher Ivan (Pudge) Rodriguez in the second inning of Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the New York Yankees. An MRI confirmed a sprained cruciate ligament in the knee, which will sideline him two to four weeks. "Everything seems as positive as it can be," Murphy said, mindful that torn ligaments would have shelved him for much longer. "Hopefully, in three or four days, I can tell a difference, and then be able to start running in a week or so.
