Richmond plated three runs in the first and four more in the second as they cruised to a 7-0 win over Norfolk in front of 9,508 fans at Harbor Park Saturday night. Tides starter Hayden Penn (5-7) took the loss, as he allowed three runs - one earned - on three hits in two thirds of an inning. Richmond's leadoff batter Josh Anderson led off the contest with a broken bat grounder back to Penn, and although Penn fielded the ball cleanly and retired Anderson at first, the 23-year-old was hit by part of the broken bat, which opened up a cut on the inside of his left leg.
