Foxtel Selects NDS XTV(TM) to Power New Quad Tuner High Definition DVR

NDS (Nasdaq:NNDS), the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, today announced that FOXTEL, Australia´s leading subscription television provider, has selected NDS XTV™ DVR technology to power its new FOXTEL iQ2 High Definition quad tuner DVR. NDS has also developed a next-generation EPG for the FOXTEL iQ2 and carried out the systems integration for the launch of FOXTEL’s HD services. The new FOXTEL iQ2 is both HD and SD compatible and its multiple tuners will allow viewers to record two shows simultaneously while watching live TV and receiving On Demand content.
