Angela Park holds half-way lead at Evian Masters ahead of veteran Helen Alfredsson

Angela Park of Brazil, grabbed the half way lead and Swede Helen Alfredsson surged into second place with a course-record 63 as the British challenge faded at the Evian Masters. England's Trish Johnson, after an opening round of 70, took 43 shots on the back nine to tumble back to one over par, 11 shots behind Park. That left compatriot Rebecca Hudson and Wales' Becky Brewerton, with matching rounds of 72, as the top Britons on even par, while Laura Davies, a two-time champion, just made the cut after a 77.
