By Dunlavin, Co Wicklow Thursday July 24 2008 I WISH to endorse the views of your Group Business Editor Brendan Keenan regarding the imaginative and innovative approach to problems frequently adopted by the late Seamus Brennan. Mr Brennan's concern was not restricted to economic and commercial development. He had a wide range of ideas, was an excellent listener, sought views from many people and had interests outside the narrow and introverted circles of the public service -- a trait he shared with the late Sean Lemass and, despite their well publicised differences, George Colley and Charlie Haughey. Mr Brennan was greatly upset by the increasing number of homeless persons, in particular, the plight of families, as he put it, being shunted from Billy to Jack, from one rental accommodation to another.
