UN Security Council cooled down the Russian hot heads

Editorial, Georgian Daily Perhaps someone might remember Risto Penttila's report in International Herald Tribune titled The Elephant and the Mouse. Well, extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council (UNSC) yesterday proved once more that gigantic Russia truly has classical Adlerian inferiority complex. The UNSC had held a private (closed) debate on Georgia on July 21. Georgia requested the meeting on July 10 to discuss the intrusion of Russian military aircraft into Georgian airspace on July 8. Although Germany is not a member country of the UNSC, its representatives also attended the meeting as the lead country in the Secretary-General’s Group of Friends of Georgia.
