Around 35,000 Britons are diagnosed with bowel cancer each year and up to 10 per cent end up with a colostomy bag after the tumour is removed. Mark Davies, 36, a marketing company director, who lives in Stockport, underwent a new procedure. He tells CAROL DAVIS about his experience, and his surgeon explains the procedure.
