The controversial Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 formally opened Tuesday with a pre-dawn flight to Aklan province. The first flight from the newly-opened terminal was a Cebu Pacific flight bound for Caticlan that left the new terminal at 5:10 a.m. The second flight, also of Cebu Pacific, was bound for Tuguegarao left the airport at 5:30 a.m. Tirso Serrano, NAIA 3 assistant general manager, said the new terminal or T3 as he calls it, would be having eight inbound and outbound Cebu Pacific flights daily for the first week. The Cebu Pacific flights available at the new terminal are bound for Caticlan, Naga, Tuguegarao, Laoag and San Jose.
