E3 2008: Nintendo Wii Music hands on

Here in time for Christmas, Nintendo tells T3. Fresh from trawling the E3 stands, T3 got a hands-on freestyle jam session with Nintendo's new Wii Music title. Penned for a late-2008 launch, Wii Music uses the Wii remote and nunchuck to simulate virtual instruments on-screen. The game also employs the Wii balance board for using the kick drum and hi-hat. Playing solo, we found thrashing around on the drum kit a hoot. Sensitivity isn't 100% when using the original Wii remote but improves with Nintendo's latest add-on, Wii MotionPlus. Not being a) a drummer or b) very musical, this T3-ite was still able to bash out a decent rhythm. When the final version is launched, there'll be drum lessons.
