NASHUA Trial to resume in sex assault trial

Jurors will resume deliberations Monday in the trial of a former Nashua man accused of sexually assaulting a young boy. Anthony Parker, 27, of Hinesville, Ga., has been jailed since his arrest last year on charges that he sexually assaulted the boy, now 6, and a girl, now 5. The crimes allegedly happened while Parker was living at Royal Crest Estates in Nashua, from December of 2004 through February 2006. Parker denies assaulting the boy, and testified he admitted doing so only because a detective promised he would receive counseling and nothing more. He faces six felony sexual assault charges involving the boy, and is scheduled to stand trial next month on charges involving the girl.
