Memphis, TN -- A Memphis man was shot while driving his car Monday, July 07, 2008, around 3:00 a.m. Police say the injured man was able to drive himself to a gas station where some police officers were responding to two other situations. All three of the incidents were at the Texaco Gas Station in the 4000 block of Macon Road. Before the man who had been shot pulled into the gas station, police were called out to the gas station on a suspicious person call. When that turned out to be nothing, one of the police officers noticed a suspicious car parked at the gas station. The officer realized the Lincoln was the car involved in a robbery a couple of days ago. Three men were sitting inside the car.
