Bolivia trusts diplomatic discrepancies with Peru will not affect maritime claim

Bolivian ambassador to Peru, Franz Solano, expressed to be confident that discrepancies on the bilateral relations with Peru will not affect the aspiration of his country to obtain a sovereign exit to the Pacific Ocean. In this way, he replied to Bolivia’s opposition sectors, who warned that strained relations between Peru and Bolivia, derived from Morales’ statements about Peruvian domestic politics, would affect a possible understanding between his country and Chile regarding this topic.
