PPP believes in reconciliatory politics, says Governor

LAHORE Punjab Governor Salman Taseer Monday said the PPP had supported the PML-N in government formation in Punjab unconditionally as it believed in reconciliatory politics. Addressing party workers from Multan during an open court at Governor House, the governor said the PPP was allowing the Punjab government to work without any hindrance. He said the PPP had formed coalition governments in all the provinces in the best interest of the country, adding it was the result of the late Benazir Bhutto’s political acumen. He said the formation of coalition governments in the provinces and the Centre was a new experiment in Pakistan, adding the experiment was doing well despite conspiracies against it.
