Updated 7:00 p.m.: 5 Year-Old Memphis Boy Shoots 6 Year-Old Sister

MEMPHIS, TN – Police say a 5 year-old Memphis boy shot his 6 year-old sister in the hand. It happened at the Goodwill Village Apartments at 2540 Peres, Tuesday afternoon, July 8, 2008. Police say the mother and a third child was in the apartment at the time of the shooting, but were not hurt. Investigators say the shooting happened in the living room of the apartment and they are trying to find out how the 5 year-old got the gun. Witnesses on the scene told Eyewitness News Everywhere that they heard two gunshots. James Henderson who lives at the complex said he heard, “the lady upstairs saying, ‘Oh my God!
