The Government of Canada Supports Musée Minéralogique et minier de Thetford Mines

THETFORD MINES, Quebec, July 8, 2008| - The Musée minéralogique et minier de Thetford Mines (MMMTM) will be able to carry out a project to promote access to scientific and ethnological heritage for all Canadians, thanks to an investment by the Government of Canada. The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Secretary of State (Agriculture) and Member of Parliament (Mégantic¬-Érable), on behalf of the Honourable Josée Verner, Minister of Canadian Heritage, Status of Women and Official Languages and Minister for La Francophonie, today announced funding for the Musée minéralogique et minier de Thetford Mines.
