Arabs: Bring Foreign Troops In to Pacify Gaza

PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad proposed today that Arab troops be deployed to restore order in Gaza and pacify it from the Hamas. Fayyad said restoring PA control over Gaza "is a key objective of policy and has to be pursued vigorously at all times." The PA lost control over Gaza in June 2007. Between 7-15 June, the International Committee for the Red Cross estimated that more than 118 people were killed and 550 wounded in battles between the Hamas and Fatah terrorist organizations.
