Why?

Why would you do this to an 85/86 year old woman? Why would you do this to anyone? They took the whole house apart on Monday. They waited for her leave the house to go shopping around 11am before breaking in through a small gap in the back garden. Unluckily, the conservatory window had been left open, granting them easy access. My Grandmother came home to find the chain across the front door and prepared herself for the worst... Such a shame that it happened, she'd started to make slow progress clearing up her house after the police raid back last year which was left in a similar state to the burglary (after my Father had told the police that he lived there and not at his own house - twat).
