Town of Salem girl, 14, found in New York state

By ANNYSA JOHNSON and RYAN HAGGERTY anjohnson@journalsentinel.com Posted: July 3, 2008 A 14-year-old Wisconsin girl who authorities believe ran away with a 23-year-old man she met on MySpace.com was found safe Thursday night in New York state, authorities said. Rachel D. Green of the Town of Salem was found about 8 p.m. in a small town near Binghamton, N.Y., along with Kyle A. DeWolf, said Leonard Peace, public affairs specialist with the Milwaukee FBI office. The two were found in what was believed to be a second home of DeWolf’s parents. Authorities were preparing to return the girl to her parents, Peace said. Green had been missing since Monday, and she and DeWolf were sought by the FBI and the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.
