Two NLR Women Face Federal Charges for Identity Theft

Two women face federal charges of using patient information to open fraudulent credit card accounts. The U.S. Attorney's office this afternoon filed charges against Tamara Hill, 30, and Ebony Flowers, 25, both of North Little Rock. Investigators say the women targeted Baptist Hospital patients. One patient didn't know she was a target until FOX16's David Goins told her Wednesday afternoon. "I did not know the extent of what had happened until now," said Debbie Headley. Debbie Headley is named in a police report as a victim in an identity theft case. Two suspects face state and now federal charges. Investigators say Hill used records she had access to as an employee at Baptist Hospital to open fraudulent credit card accounts. Baptist fired her after her initial arrest in May.
