Police warning after night-time burglaries

POLICE in Ebbw Vale are investigating three burglaries which happened overnight between Monday and Tuesday, after people went to bed leaving doors unlocked. One house was entered at Duffryn Road, Waunllwyd. A purse and credit card were stolen and £500 was later obtained by using the credit card. Another house was entered at Letchworth Road; where £700 cash, a credit card and a DVD player were stolen. A third house was entered at Tredegar Avenue and car keys were taken. The keys were then used to steal a Volvo Estate V70, registration R84 PMO which was parked outside. In all cases the occupants of the house were asleep upstairs while the burglaries were carried out.
