Pools pounce for Jones

Hartlepool United boss Danny Wilson has strengthened his squad by making the Manchester United midfielder Ritchie Jones his second capture of the summer. The Premier League side released the 21-year-old at the end of last season, after he had spent the first half of the campaign on loan with Yeovil Town. Jones also enjoyed loan spells with Barnsley and Colchester United during the 2006-07 campaign and made five first-team appearances for Sir Alex Ferguson's side in the previous campaign.
