By Telegraph staff Cristiano Ronaldo's relationship with Manchester United is becoming increasingly strained as speculation continues over his possible departure from Old Trafford.. United have been irritated by Ronaldo's refusal to show his commitment to United, with the winger continually sending out mixed messages about his future to the international media while he was playing for Portugal at Euro 2008. The Daily Star reports that United are also angry about Ronaldo's alleged role in helping the Portuguese Football Federation (PFF) try to recruit Carlos Queiroz, Sir Alex Ferguson's right-hand man, as the new national team coach.
