By Marcus Casey, media writer TALKBACK king Alan Jones is to hold a press conference today in which he is believed to be revealing plans to scale back his workload - or quit radio altogether. Jones, Sydney's most dominant and influential talkback radio host of the past two decades, told 2GB management at 8.45am that he is making the major anouncement. "Just what it is, I honestly don't know," 2GB program director Peter Brennan said this morning. "The corridors are full of talk - he could be announcing that he is selling his shares in Macquarie Radio, that he is is ill and retiring, that he is resigning or that he has re-signed with us.
