GREENVILLE, S.C., July 1 (UPI) -- An 8-year-old South Carolina girl whose body was found in a vacant mobile home had been sexually assaulted and asphyxiated, investigators said Tuesday. Dymia Flemming's mother reported her missing Monday evening. Police using dogs searched the neighborhood in Greenville County and found her body in a closet in the empty house after noticing the door was open, The Greenville News reported. Renee Flemming, Dymia's mother, said she last saw her daughter playing on a trampoline with friends. She said she called 911 when her daughter did not return home. "We had no idea that she was hemmed up in a trailer, covered up," she said. "It's horrible. Who wants their baby to be found in a mobile home, covered up, deceased?"
