Forty deputies representing Mauritania's ruling National Pact for Development and Democracy (PNDD-ADIL) party and its allies endorsed a no-confidence motion Monday (June 30th) in Nouakchott against Prime Minister Yahya Ahmed El Waghef's government, APA reported. The 2-month old government does not reflect the will of the electorate, the deputies said, denouncing what they called the return to office of key members of former president Maaouya Ould Taya's regime.
