THREE Porlock brothers strode to success this week - completing a tough 36-mile trek a year after a terrifying car crash left them in hospital. Chris Gibbs, 23, and brothers Breyon, 14, and Sebastian, 12, set out from Coleridge Cottage, Nether Stowey at 6am on Saturday arriving at Porlock Visitor Centre at 7.30pm. As reported, the brothers were set to take on the challenge last year but ended up in hospital. Breyon suffered a fractured spine and Sebastian had emergency surgery for internal injuries. The other family members in the car - the boys mother Ann, Chris, and his girlfriend Emily Webber also suffered injuries. Together with Emily, the group walked the entire Coleridge Way with Ann joining in for several sections and dad Paul driving to and from meeting points with refreshments.
