WASHINGTON: A top contender for the Republican vice-presidential ticket, Indian-American Governor of Louisiana Bobby Jindal strongly batted for the party's presidential nominee John McCain, disagreeing that he will persist with President George W Bush's policies and declaring that the 72-year-old "is his own man."
