To the videotape While we wait for the rain to stop, the BBC replays the climax of last night's tragi-comic tussle between Andy Roddick and Janko Tipsarevic. It's a horribly compelling spectacle. Roddick is trailing, claws himself a set-point in the fourth set and then dinks his return into the net. Well placed at the net, he chooses not to volley a pat-ball passing shot that falls well in. Nothing is working and his confidence is in tatters. It's like watching a man suffering a full-scale nervous breakdown, right there on the court.
