Iran says EU sanctions will not stop nuclear work

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran condemned on Tuesday fresh European Union sanctions against the Islamic Republic and made clear they would not slow the country's nuclear activities, an Iranian news agency reported. "Such illegal and paradoxical behaviour .... is meaningless and strongly condemned," Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini was quoted as saying by the Fars News Agency.
