OKI Printing Solutions Leads A3 Color Page Printer Unit Shipments in Germany

OKI Printing Solutions (the brand name for OKI Data Corporation) today announced that it captured No.1 position in the A3 color page printer shipments in Germany over the first quarter of 2008, increasing its unit shipments by 79% from the previous quarter. According to IDC, OKI Printing Solutions' A3 printer shipments in Germany accounted for 34% of the total German A3 color page printer market. Western Europe is the largest A3 color page printer market in Europe and is the second largest market worldwide, following Japan. With the category defining A3 color page printers, C8600 Series entering the channel in November 2006 and the C8800 Series in May 2007, OKI Printing Solutions has demonstrated its grip on this market across Europe.
