V P Singh hospitalised

Former Prime Minister V P Singh, who is suffering from kidney and heart problems, has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Bombay hospital in Mumbai. Singh, 76, was admitted to the hospital on Thursday and is undergoing treatment for kidney and heart ailments, Dean of the hospital Dr B K Goel told PTI on Friday. His condition is improving, Goyal said. Singh, who usually undergoes dialysis either in Apollo Hospital in Delhi or Bombay Hospital in Mumbai, was undergoing treatment for an internal abdominal haemorrhage in a hospital in Hyderabad.
